原盘画质一般，线条问题严重。全片有大量拉伸和 3D 渲染导致的锯齿，部分场景润线做得非常不到位，有严重的二值化锯齿，此外还有后期锐化导致的振铃问题。我们采用强力手段清除锯齿和振铃，然后辅以适度的补偿性锐化，弥补上述操作降低的锐度，提升观感。原盘平面质量也不太好，虽然较强的噪点避免了色带的产生，但是部分被压碎的噪点还是让画面显得比较脏。我们尽量去除了烂噪，并进行保底的抗色带处理。最后进行常规的自适应降噪以控制码率。
The image quality is normal. The lines have serious issues. A huge amount of aliasing caused by upscaling and 3D rendering is throughout all the episodes. Lines in some scenes are not fully smoothed, which leads to serious binarized aliasing. And there are also ringing issues due to the post-sharpening. For those line issues, we used powerful means to fix aliasing and ringing, and then supplemented this with moderate compensatory sharpening to preserve the sharpness for a better viewing experience. The flat areas are not of good quality either, though the strong grains avoid the colour banding, some of them were badly encoded making the image rather dirty. We tried our best to remove the bad-look noise, then applied preventative de-banding, and finally with routine adaptive denoising to control the bit-rate.
